We were Soldiers Although it is sad in parts.
The Patriot has a lot of battle scenes. There are a lot of them believe me I've had to watch them all with my hubby. Just go to the video store and look in the older movies and you'll find some♥

Black Hawk Down is probably the best of these types of movies but others you may consider are: Platoon, Saving Private Ryan, Glory, We Were Soldiers, and Flags of Our Fathers (which will come out in theaters in October).
