this situation is going on right now to close friends of mine. a 22 year old daughter of my friends had been (is) involved in an interacial relationhip, however this is not the problem. they had went as far as to allow the young man to move in with their daughter in their home when he lost his apartment. the young man stated that he wanted to prove himself to parents, and grandmother. however he could not keep a job, and would spend $300- $400 dollar paycheck on alcohol and crack cocaine in a days time on the weekend, and did nothing to help the household. when this became totaly intolerable and the young man was removed by sheriff. daughter stated it was over and things seemed fine for several weeks.then 4 days ago the daughter vanished without a trace, police reports were done. the daughter after 3 days called the police telling them not to look for her. that she did not want to see or talk to her parents as they were trying to ruin and run her life for her.when in fact the parents

It's unfortunate, but children have to make thier own choices in life, even if they don't make good ones. The only thing your friend can do is try to be supportive, and accept the daughter back when she eventually comes crawling home. I'm sure the daughter doesn't mean to be hurtful, she just doesn't understand yet that a guy like that is no good. I'm sure the guy is telling her a different story, and she will believe anything he says (for awhile) because she thinks she is in love. Your friend did the right thing in kicking that guy out, and your friend's daughter just made a bad choice. I'm sure she will figure it out in due time.
Hope this helps!

wow...Sounds like the parents have bent over backwards for their daughter. Is it possible that the daughter is using drugs too? That is probably why she doesn't want to be found. I feel for the parents, it's not easy to try and figure out what 's best to do for your child, no matter how old they are. They could continue to try and find her, put her in a rehab, then see what happens after that, or just try and get a message to her somehow that they will always be there for her when she's ready to come home, no matter what. I wish them luck.

I'm sure the parents rightfully feel betrayed, hurt, angry, worried, and lots of other emotions. However, she is 22, legally an adult. Eventually, she is going to have to learn from some of her own mistakes. The school of hard knocks is the best teacher. Her parents must learn to let her fall and get back up if she's to learn to walk on her own.

She has her choice at 22 BUT common sense on the other hand could be an arresting situation if she does as he, for the reason wanting to stay & PARTY till JAIL will be DEAD AHEAD and her choices could/would get not up to her or him, instead a judge...

Good luck with tring to help her get her head togeather

No. mendacity is what people do while they don't believe the guy they're conversing to do do the amazing element with the certainty. it is why we lie as quickly as we are in hassle, through fact all of us understand there'll be effects we don't want to stand or if somebody is making an attempt to defraud somebody by utilising making them react in any different case.

Loving your children means that you have to be respectful of the decisions that they make as adults, even if the decisions are wrong. It's called unconditional love.

Why even mention that it's an interacial relationship, that has nothing to do with your question?

where's the rest?.....
the answer is this is normal. everyone wants to grow up...our elders always think too soon. the more they're denied what they want the more they want it , no matter how bad it might be for them. let her make her own mistakes and be there for her if she needs you.
