how do i get back into model building?

The last time I built a model car was almost 10 years ago and I did;nt even finish the damn thing. It's my favourite hobby, what the hell, I might be to worried about the ending results not being the what I wanted or expected. I dont want to suck at something I like.

get some cheap ones to work on and toss 'em when they're done or keep redoing them (i.e. the paint, etc).

practice makes perfect.
