I never heard that before. Probably Orwellian. Animal Farm - Animals overthrow humans. The Pigs lead the farm animals in a socialistic set up.

But I have heard capitalist Pig thrown around more, in lines with Chauvinistic pig or pig as a cop. So, probably just the same term thrown back at the communists they say about the capitalists. It seems to fit capitalists better - someone wanting to "hog" all the wealth to themselves and give none to the less fortunate. on the other hand, when hearing Communist Pig, I do think of the Elite ruling classes, hogging wealth to themselves and distributing less to the masses; just like in Animal Farm.

Communists are only referred to as "pigs" by Capitalists. Guess what the Capitalists get called by the Communists? The same thing - pigs!! haha. You find this silliness between every kind of rival pairing - Democrats and and Republicans being the most ridiculous of all.

I think "Pig" has followed various political terms, such as, Capitalist Pig, Fascist Pig, Imperialist Pig. So, "Pig" is probably universal for anyone that takes "too much".
