Criteria for answering questions:
1.Left field – Does the question come from out of no where and make me think from out of no where?
2.Thinker – Does it challenge me to think of a meaningful answer?
3.Personal – Does it allow me to delve into personal experience?
4.Faith – Does it allow me to, tastefully, express my faith?
5.Contrary – Does it make a statement to contrary to how I think that I have to challenge it in my answer?
This one would have to go under the second category: thinker.

If I know about the subject being asked then I volunteer my knowledge. I like the assist people in learning things that they dont know that I have had past experience with or been previously educated about. Sometimes I ignore or pass on a question because I do not know anything about the subject or just because Im not in the mood to answer that type of question at that point.

(1) Its got to be readable. I won't read a story or some long, drawn out explanation. If you need to type a book, then you need to get answers or advice somewhere else.
(2) I like fun questions. Something not so dang serious.
(3) I also like questions from some typical users. There are some really interesting and fun people in here.

If I think I have something to say, then I'll answer it. I truly want to help the questioner and if I have knowledge in that area, then I'll share it.
I will ignore any questions that are purely sexual in nature, if I feel the questioner is using the question to get his "jollies"!
I never answer just for the points.

Worth Answering - If I know the answer, or have a pretty good idea.
And if its not a question someone is not serious about. Like joking around.

I don't judge the questions...I generally just take what pops up first.
The criteria for answering lies in the other answers I read. If I completely agree with someone else, I scarcely will add anything to the fray.

I answer the questions that seem reasonable. Like obviously I'm not going to answer something too vulgar or like.
"My cats been dead for 4 weeks, what should I do?"
Stuff like that I'll ignore. But I'll answer something like relationship issues or, if I can help somebody fix something, I'll help with that too.

It's usually worth answering if I know the answer.

I enjoy questions that call for imagination and humor, sometimes a serious one, if it asks for something I can respond to intelligently. I won't touch questions that are vulgar and/or profane, or asked by someone whose ID is vulgar or profane, or whose avatar is an unflushed toilet. I also pass on those that ask you to read a short story to understand them, and those that are obviously editorials rather than questions.
