Hi. Snow is a pretty good insulator (look at igloos). Find a tree or boulder to block the prevailing wind and build up a wall on either side. If you have branches, place them across the top and the opening. Leave a piece of bright cloth on a stick so the rescue people can find you.

You need to dig a rectangular hole, with a higher level at the side (where you can lay down). On that side, lay down leaves/branches/whatever for insulation. When in front, the shelter resembles like an upturned L-shape.

Dig a hole in the snow and crawl in it. Or dig out around the base of a pine tree and pack the sides up.
