It would have been the first person to die who had made a recording of their voice in the time just after recording devices were invented. Not sure that this actually would have been the inventor Edison as surely others made recordings as well and subsequently died before he did.

Following is a link about someone who probably was the oldest person ever recorded, born in 1790 -- too bad they lost the recording.

Do you mean a ghost - in which case who knows, or the first person whose recorded voice was played after his death?

I'll guess you are looking for "Thomas Edison", but here's a creepy bit of trivia; Many, many people who die in bed (typically of 'old age' of of some terminal sickness in hospital) let out an audible noise almost immediately after death as their muscles all relax, collapsing their chests, and forcing the air in their lungs over their larynx. Weird, huh?
