at first, it seems such as you have too many fish on your tank. you may in easy terms have approximately 10 SMALL fish in a 10 gallon tank. yet besides, especially situations if a fish dies, that is going to be promptly eaten by ability of the different fish and snails, so till you spotted the lifeless fish suitable away, it could have been eaten. examine at the back of and around the tank to make effective no fish jumped out. That sounds strange, even though it has befell in the previous.

It will rot and stink, though it's VERY unlikely there are "no other living" things in your tanks. Snails will probably appear and eat the dead fish.

all of the other fish will start worrying that there is a zombie fish in their presence. they will then require profuse amounts of medicine and therapy, which can be quite costly, especially if the school they are in doesn't carry insurance. I strongly suggest you assist the fish from all that trauma, and "fish" out the floater, and give him the old flusheroo.

if the tank has a filter it will suck it up. Or it will deterioate and make high amona levels in your tank
