You can build a much better system for much less cost if you build your own.
It is not a simple plug and play though. You have to know what type of processor goes with what type of motherboard, what your speeds are for things like your memory (RAM), and it takes a fair amount of research to make a good system. That being said, you get alot more bang for your buck when you build your own, but I wouldnt recommend it if you dont know much about computers.

click on start /all programs
in the list go to pc help & tool
then click on
hp-pc- recovery tools-cd
noW click on
creat the recovery tools cd
use a cd(r) disk ...to creater the pc tools cd
then click next
and wait for it to creat a
system tool recovery cd
do not stop it at all
when the system tools
cd is created your have
a system recovery tools
cd- this cd will reinstall
all the software that came with the pc and
now coz we have reset the software it will
restall the software that is on the pc and
reinstall windows xp home and set it back up
windows xp will be reinstalled and set back up
the
hp-pc-tools cd
this just reinstall's the software that was on the
the hard drive at the time you buy the pc it will also
install windows xp. os .with out asking for the windows xp cd

yes. unless you go with the absolute top of the line from a large manufacturer, you will get sub-par hardware. for instance, if you look into buying say a motherboard, they start at around $100 for a good one (thats without the processor). do you think Dell or HP spent that much on good hardware or used one that isn't made qiute as well for a much lower cost?

that really depends on you, but dell and hp have many different kinds of computer so why would you built your own when you can just pick from dell or hp which is already built
