Actually, my mother did with me. She freaked out and took me to the dentist. He let her know that it was okay. the longer it takes for the teeth to come in, the stronger the enamel on the teeth. don't freak.

I have 4 children 3 of which were 14mths old when their teeth broke through. They say the earlier they walk the later their teeth come and this was correct with me.I became worried with my second child until she developed a chest infection and x-rays showed a mouthful of teeth as well

Its perfectly normal my daughter did not get her first tooth until after her first birthday.I was not concerned because my mother told me I did not get my first tooth until 11 months. I did asked my Pediatrician about it and he explained to me that teeth are a sign of bone growth. The later a baby gets their teeth the later they will go through puberty.Basically she will not get her first menstrual cycle until she is about 15 years old, as I did, and believe me the later she goes through puberty in life is just fine with me!!!!

yes, my doctor told me the later the better for the teeth to come in. If they come in to early their teeth may rot. If they do not come in with in 4 more months I would ask your doctor.

yeah my older brother's baby girl turned one in last month and she barely got her teeth just two weeks ago so it's natural , he freaked out too, so he went to clinic and the doctor said it was natural.

CERTAIN TYPES OF FOOD WILL HARDEN A BABY'S GUMS AND MAKE IT HARDER AND LONGER FOR THEM TO CUT TEETH. THESE FOODS ARE ANYTHING THAT HAS SALT OR SALT BASED SEASONINGS. JUST GIVE IT A LITTLE TIME AND WATCH WHAT YOU FEED HIM.
