Why not? We're not allowing them to participate in "normal" society. Should we just expect them to crawl off and die in a corner because we're to offended to allow them the human rights and priveledges we claim as our own?

What other choice do they have? There is so much persecution of gays in this culture. It only makes sense that they would band together, as do most cultural groups.

Im not quite sure what you mean by that. It sounds pretty prejudicial to me. Im heterosexual, before you pass judgment.
Why dont you go back in time to biblical times and behead them or something?

Show me one minority who hasn't created their own society and I'll show you a dozen that have. Of course we have our own society. We aren't exactly treated nicely by hetero-society.
