Full mental Jacket is by far the best Vietnam movie...I think it should be remade because it will bring to left Vietname for the young genereations that might not know too much about it.
After all it is only interesting to the young if it is New and fresh.

8. Born On The Fourth Of July
That's about the best I can come up with. All great films. On the heels of Platoon there were a bunch of others that were forgettable, but those are my top 8 (although the last two deal more with the aftermath of Vietnam on the vets who were there). And NONE of these need to be remade. There's no reason to remake these, but making a new and fresh Vietnam film would be great. We do need (especially now) to remember what happened then, and what went right and especially what went wrong.

Apocalypse now's the excellent and that is not in all probability close. many of the lists indexed right here are sturdy, although curiously like all human beings forgot Jacob's Ladder and The Killing Fields. And for the super Apocalypse now followers obtainable, be effective to take a glance at Aguirre the Wrath of God, which become a significant impact for the action picture.
