Ok, if the Dark Tower books were ever made as movies (God forbid!) which actors would you choose to play the characters?

Clint Eastwood is the best actor imaginable to play Roland (Stephen King often has him in the books), although he is too old.
Susannah could be Halle Berrie but she does not seem tough enough for the role.

Hugh Laurie as Roland
Angela Bassett as Susannah
Elijah Wood as Eddie
Maybe one of the Sprouse twins for Jake
Stephen King would have to be Stephen King (lol)

Yea, I always thought of Roland like a Clint Eastwood. Eddie would be a Colin Farrel type guy, but not quite him. I also think a good Walter would be the guy from LOTR who played wormtongue. He had those creepy eyes and face. Not sure about everyone else.

like you said, hopefully that would never happen... but I always envisioned a young clint eastwood as Ronan... but obviously that couldnt happen, hmmmm... thats hard, maybe the woman who played Tina Turner as Susannah... dang I cant think of her name!! lol And I have no idea about Eddie... or the boy! good question!

Well I do know one thing. If they ever made those books into a movie Stephen King would make a guest appearance! He does that in almot all his movies!

I think Christopher Walken would be an excellent charcter for this movie
