If you buy the slave cylinder aftermarket you can get just the one piece. The dealer tries to sell you the set though. If the slave is the only one leaking there isn't any sense in replacing both.

The slave and master cylinders are separate units.

You don't have to replace both if one or the other is working. It's not a bad idea to, rubber does wear out, but it's not necessary.

If only the slave cylinder is leaking, all you need to do is replace the slave cylinder. YOU ALSO need to bleed the lines completely because when you replace the slave cylinder you will introduce air into the hydraulic lines. If you don't know how to bleed a brake and or clutch system, do not do it yourself or you will find yourself with out brakes or an improperly working clutch.

many times speaking brake draw close and slave cyl are separate instruments. yet are you speaking of the take carry of or the brakes. if you're speaking take carry of, it truly relies upon on the transmission you've. some ninety 5's have a puegeot trans and they seem to be a touch different to artwork on. i'd recommend determining which trans you've and then communicate over with an expert. My reasoning is I had a ninety 5 that had those authentic themes.
