I saw this sport on TV a couple of days ago, and I'd like to know what it is.... Well, it's kind of a mix between football and soccer, you play with a soccer ball, but you can kick or throw the ball, and there are 2 goals, one like in soccer and another one like a field goal in football. You also keep 2 scores. Maybe this is a stupid question, but, I'd just like to know. Thanks a lot for helping me.

Sounds a lot like rugby. It is a common sport in the UK. It is a contact sport somewhere between football and soccer.

It sounds like it's rugby. My uncle used to play rugby, and he is a large man (6'5", probably 240lbs.) And even he was told not to play anymore after an ankle injury. If you are into the rough contact sports, its an awesome game to watch.
Are the players able to hold onto the ball while they run with it? If not, then it isnt rugby =P
