Is he really dead? i have searched the net and can't find any solid info. Does anyone know? Thanks in advance.

He might be taking a break. You watch soaps, so you know how it will be. He's been reported as dead to Bo, and in the previews, Michael "identified" the body as John. It's doubtful that it really is him - he'll be back in 6 months. He's a great character, with great storylines ahead - they're not going to leave him dead.
Duke was a great character, too, but they killed him because there was not a lot they could do with him, but with him dead, they can work more with Kelly & Kevin.

he was going to quit but he is going to come back to the show. Ilove my soaps
