Breastfeeding. Definately want to start your baby on the most positive track in life and I feel that breast is best no matter what. Not to say anything bad about those who chose the bottle, statistically, there is nothing saying that formula should only be chosen as a last resort. I understand that some people may have certain cercumstances in which they were unable to breastfeed and I totally respect those of you who tried an felt it would be better to go to the bottle.

Hello. I have 4 kids. 2 of which I did not nurse and the last 2 (one is 2 mths.) I did nurse and I found that the 3rd child was healthier then the first 2 kids. I love nursing, it's 100% cheaper and a lot more convenient.

I planned on breastfeeding and that i did for the 1st 4 weeks till i grow to be not producing adequate milk for my infant. i bought bottles and a steriliser earlier she grow to be born, only in case, and that i'm happy I did because of the fact whilst she grow to be 3 days previous, my nipples have been so sore, I have been given to the element the place I only did not prefer to feed her, not a stunning feeling in any respect, yet I only couldnt do it. I despatched my husband out to asda to purchase formulation milk at 8pm that night, and that i grow to be only fortunate that we had already the bottles and steriliser interior the dwelling house, or my little lady might have long gone hungary that night! nicely not unquestionably, i might have fed her, yet you be attentive to what I propose! because it grew to become out i mandatory the bottles besides. i bought 4 to start with, yet then as quickly as we replaced to formulation milk thoroughly, i bought yet another 3. 7 bottles is plenty, i think of! in case you do choose for to purchase bottles, I reccommend the 'Tommee Tippee closer to Nature' bottles because of the fact the teats are designed/formed to sense like the the mothers breast. they're great! stable luck!

I nursed both of my kids until they were both over a year. Neither had formula, ever. I also nursed them wherever we went and never had any problems.

I will, of course, nurse any more that come along too!

I think you should contact your local La Leche League & get more info. Most moms CAN breastfeed. Sometimes it's a little hard to get the hang of at first, but the benefits are endless!

Good luck!

Babies were born to be breastfed!! Guess what? I breastfed my son (who is now 11) until he was 3 1/2 years old! Yes I did!!! And he still remembers too. He never even had a cold until he was about 5 years old and it didn't last for long. Even today, he rarely gets sick. I think its all due to breastfeeding. So, go on, girl--breastfeed your youngin for as long as you want!!!
