Reality is what is real to you, then work outwards. There may be a multiverse but it is irrelevant if theory says they cannot be contacted.

Even if the Universe is infinite, this does not necessarily mean that "everything that can happen will happen". Infinity comes in different sizes, and the infinity of things that can happen is a larger infinity than a mere infinite volume of stuff persisting for an indefinite time. Reality is those things that actually do happen.

This is a question for Metaphysics (a branch of Philosophy).
In the words of Richard Feynman,
Physics tells you what is, if you want to know why ask a Philosopher!
But I can't resist. My personal view on the subject is, our reality is strictly defined by what we can observe, repeatedly, and find agreement with others on those observations. ie. - are alien abductions a reality... even for some?

Reality is a matter of opinion. Did you ever hear the story about the man that fell asleep under a tree? When he slept he dreamed he was a butterfly. When he awoke he asked himself " Was I a man dreaming that I was a butterfly? Or am I a butterfly dreaming that I am a man?" Reality is how you perceive it.

Reality is all that exist. This includes all that is seen and unseen and all that is understood and unknown.
