I also got excepted in NHS (National Honors Society) today.... congratulate me :) lol....... I heard it's good for college applications? Is a class officer good for college applications?

You mean you got ACCEPTED into NHS today, not EXCEPTED. The best things for a college application is a transcript which shows you were successful (B or better) in challenging courses and the ability to write a clear, concise essay to an assigned question. Be sure to have someone proofread yours so you will be ACCEPTED and not EXCEPTED!!
A corresponding secretary takes care of all the correspondence of the organization.
