You do see young ones about sometimes. It's actually pretty rare to see baby animals of any type, they tend to be very well hidden when they're still too young to defend themselves against predators.

I've seen them at my bird-feeders with their mothers,Of course they aren't newborns;those are up in the nest, but they are about half the size of the adults and they roll around on the ground and play like kittens and chase each other up and down the tree-trunks.The black ones are the cutest(it's a color mutation of the common grey squirrel, and quite common in the U.S.)There are white ones, too, but I've never seen one, only a photograph.

i've got in basic terms seen one little one squirrel and that i wasn't specific what it became into. i became into strolling from the Courthouse to my workplace sooner or later when I observed this tiny purple little one laying on the floor below a pecan tree. It regarded style of like a mixture between somewhat one mouse and a kitten, and it had no hair. It became into alive so I picked it up and took it to the workplace with me. A co-worker took it to the vet her mom works for, and that's how we found out it became right into somewhat one squirrel. So, i assume they stay in a nest or hollow in timber until they're great sufficient to run around on their very own.

They are born in a nest, called a drey, hidden away in the branches of a tree. they won't leave until they are well grown, so look like adults.
