I have been looking for the same information and basically I have found out that it takes about two weeks after conception (when you miss your period) to tell that you are pregnant. Some women have symptoms earlier than this, such as swollen breasts, some cramping, fatigue, etc. Some early preganancy tests can even detect pregnancy up to 5 days before your missed period. A good website I found is twoweekwait.com. Women talk about the symptoms they experienced during the two weeks before their missed period. Hope this helps! Good Luck!

sometimes you can find out 7-9 days after you had sex, but it can sometimes take as long as 15-17 days.
a good rule of thumb.... take a test 10 days after unprotected sex. if it's negative, wait a week and test again. if it's still negative, you're not pregnant.
(the folks, above, who say it can take 4 weeks... they mean it takes 4 weeks or more from your last period. at least, i hope that's what they mean. i am talking about how long it takes after you have sex during the middle of your cycle).

Usually 4 weeks or so . . when your next cycle is missed. I think pregnancy tests wont even register for a few weeks either. Blood tests work the soonest.

the day of your periods expected date, you can take a test. if you are, it'll show, even though the line or plus symbol might be faint. they also have tests now that you can take up to 5 days before your period gets here. i love ept, but the dollar store ones work well too.

It's said that a pregnancy test can tell you within 10 days of "conception". Take a test!

Take a test when you're at least a week late and you'll know in about 10 minutes.

I got my positive test at 13 days past ovulation, 2 days before my missed period♥

the first day you miss your period... or depending on the pregnancy test you can take it like up to 7 days before your period should begin
