i want to burn a cd but my computer is a laptop is there anything that could help me so i could burn cds and dvd's on my laptop please help

Yes, you can just buy an external cd/dv burner.
Check the site www.newegg.com, they have good prices

If you do not have a cd/dvd burner you cant burn anything. even if you have Media Player 99. you would need to either replace the existing drive or get and external one. you could find either on www.newegg.com, or www.tigerdirect.com.

You need the hardware to be capable of writing to disks as well as the software.
