I see that Burt Reynolds is guest-starring soon. This is how good shows go bad.. it starts with 'okay' guests like Juliette Lewis and Burt Reynolds, and pretty soon it's a crapfest with 'Special Guest JULIA ROBERTS' or Cher or Madonna. Are you scared that NBC is gonna ruin 'Earl'?

Well, that's the way the stars get their asses kissed by big network. I don't like it when a show tries to "one-up" itself by bringing on guest starts, but sometimes it's okay. I don't like how they have to write the script around the guest star either. Stick to what you had the first season, it was good then, it will still be good now. DON'T TRY TO IMPROVE AN ALREADY POPULAR SHOW!! The only time I see where it's okay is in dramas and on The Simpsons. Wow, I went off on a tangent. Sorry.
