Alright so I have a great paying job, with management responsibilities, but my co-workers annoy me so bad that I feel like I'm about ready to snap and just scream at every last one of them. Does anyone have any great stress reliever ideas for dealing with these people? Quiting is not an option at this point.

Definitely don't quit. You've established that. What I can say is, whatever they're saying or doing to you shouldn't be taken seriously, unless they are starting rumors. I just hope that's not the case. I've recently made the mistake of leaving a job b/c of a co-worker I didn't like. I had to leave behind the best people/friends I've ever had. Truthfully, this is all just a major test and hopefully you're not taking this home with you. What I liked to do when my co-worker got on my nerves, I would take a break such as go outside for some fresh air, or once they've left sight...just laugh...b/c your always gonna deal with people like that especially in a work environment. It makes work...interesting! So when you feel stressed out...maybe go and try to find someone within the office that makes you laugh and laugh it off. Trust me..laughing helps! Actually, I hope THIS helps. Good luck!

If they are subordinates, start documenting their behavior so you can get rid of them. Even if an employee has been there over many years, you can still fire them if you have the documentation in order. If they are indeed co-workers, that is, other managers, you'll have to be the "team player"... in your position, it's expecting to put up with the "headaches"... and those always come with personnel. As for stress relievers, taking a nice long walk can help... getting some cold water can be refreshing... and you can always squeeze one of those stress balls available at office supply stores.

My job is the same way. I just do the best that I can and try to walk away from those stressful situations. When you work with people, there will always be someone that annoys you. When work is over, go home and enjoy life. It's not worth worrying about it. Think positive and about all the good things that happen to you, like your family, friends, health, etc.

Don't quit! That just means that they one. This is not a battle anymore- this is a war! Alright if you listen closely and keep sane I'll tell you my narotic friends idea.
First don't wear deoderant for a couple days, then start carrying around pocket fulls of tissues, eat nothing but beans for a week, and you might just servive.

Try getting up often as possible and do something else. If they try to get you upset that means they envey you probably. Tell them you like something about them, clothes, shoes, purse, smile, etc. A little may go a long way. Ask if you can help them with something or ask if they need advise anytime without being to personal.
If all else fails, pretend they have a banana sticking out of their ear; that makes me smile! Good Luck!

When I worked with a horrible person....she was vendictive and just plain evil....I had to tell myself I am there to work not make friends. I just avoided her....I just asked and talked about what I needed....nothing else. You just have to focus on you...you can't please everyone...just do good at your job...if it's worth mentioning to your boss or supervisor do it...so you have a record just incase you need a paper trail...

As for a stress reliver...I would just count to ten...take a breather...if you have to go for a power walk do it.

good luck.

Remember the Golden Rule: TREAT OTHERS AS YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE TREATED. Keep that in mind next time you see him, or even remind him of the rule.
