i,m using an obsolite imac here and it,s "hit or miss" pulling up mail. sometimes it works well and other time i think it,s pre programed to drive me nuts. i know very little about computers and trying to teach myself. this thing "freezes up" periotacly and has to be downpowered,or shut off before it will work again.if you can advise me please do so, but keep in mind it will have to be a simple explanation

I had the same problem a few years ago with my '95.....
You need to buy a new computer. I don't know why it froze, but it's definitely worth upgrading....

If you have too many tabs open ,the computer doesn't kn ow what to do . It is too busy . so it freezes. when you are finished looking at something . close it out . that will solve having too many tabs open.
