I am a new user and would like tips from users and any favorite products that anyone has used of Bareminerals. Thank you for your help.

I love the stuff (25 years old)! My sister loves the stuff (19 years old) and our mom loves the stuff (50 something). You just have to know how to acheive the look you want.
My skin is fairly clear however very oily, my sister has acne scarring on her cheeks and has oily skin as well. We both use the foundation and mineral veil. I like putting the mineral veil on before the foundation and after, keeps the oil at bay! Most of the time the bareMineral foundation is the only foundation I use, unless I really want heavy coverage, then I will use a liquid foundation then bareMineral foundation on top like a powder. This has great staying power! I know my mom does that every day.
I love the stuff because it does look natural! My skin is better for using it. And the stuff looks better as the day goes on.
I was in a wedding in August (so hot!) and I sweat so much there, however my makeup stayed.
Also in addition to the foundation and mineral veil I love the all over face colors like glee, true, and bare radiance. True is expecially wonderful because I also use it as an eyeshadow and lip color!
If you ever want any tips on using the stuff I'd recommend going to a bareMinerals store, Sephora, or watch QVC when Leslie is on with the make-up.

I love Bare Minerals! Here are a few things that I do. I have oily skin, w/broken capillaries and dark circles under my eyes.
First, I apply mineral veil before my foundation, for me this helps control the oil better. Then I put on the foundation using a little at a time w/ the kabuki brush, making sure to buff it in well. I also use the foundation to cover the issues that I have with the concealer brush. Once I'm done with that I use warmth, with the lid tightly on the jar, I tip it over then back upright, tap the top to remove any excess and the"dust" from the warmth I swirl, tap and buff into my skin. I wear Fair so I don't use a lot of the warmth. Then I apply mineral veil and buff well again. Depending on my mood I'll wear eye shadows, blush, liner but sometimes I just use warmth, or glee and mascara. I'll put the glee on my lids up to the crease and blend it well so it's subtle, then apply some on my cheeks and mascara and I'm good to go.
I love the eye colors, they go on well and the nice thing is you can mix them to make your own shade.
Have fun with what you have and don't be afraid to experiment! Just remember less is more with the foundation.

i love my bare minerals. did your kit come with a dvd? if not the key to getting it to look good is to use very little. for foundation use about the amount of 3 grains of rice. for the face colors, and blushes, use about the amount of a couple specks of pepper. if you bought the kit, it came with warmth, which is ok, but i like bare radiance, rose radiance, and soft focus true better. the kabuki brush will give the best coverage, i usually use that then go back and do under my eyes with the concealer brush.

i like it.
i start with the little brush on the small problems.
then i use the big bruch for my whole face.
then I put on warmth (while simleing) on my cheeks,nose, ect.
and finally, I put of mineral veil to soak up and oils and have a nice shimmer.
It works very well for me. other people who had tryed it probably didn't put it on correctly or they might have really really bad skin.
Other products u can buy are eye shadows, eyeliners, lipstick, compact cases, ect.
i hope you like it =]
oh and don't be afraid to buff it into your face! bare minerals is good for your skin, unlike other make up.

okay i love this stuff becuase it has the spf
to fatten up lashes use some of mineral veil onthe lashes before curling and mascraing
also... I love using warmth as a nautral eyeshadow, so to contour my cheek bones and make me look all healthly!
and don't forget toblend blend blend

well i have been using it annnnd
it wears off reallly soon like after 3 hours so you are gonnna need back-up make up for when you are really going out but if you are only gonna be out for awhile use it cuz it is awsome it makes you look fresh and the whole time i did use it i never had acne but you should wash it off before you go to sleep!!!
its awsome soooo use it but your back-up make-up shuld be revlon yep yep yes it should make sure you get your skin color though you dont wanna look fake!!!

Not a very good product. It is NOTHING like the informercial that touts it as WONDERFUL. I hope it eventually disappears!

it sucks and i hated it its like bare nothing covers nothing good luck with the crap cause i sure hated it
