If you JUST took the patch off, give it a few days to start. Even if you were supposed to start last week, if you still had the patch on, it will have stopped your period until you took it off.

You could be pregnant, but more likely the Ortho has caused a hormonal imbalance. So many women come off of birth control and have messed up periods and trouble conceiving. It takes time for the body to reset itself and cleanse of the synthetic hormone. You may start your period in a few days. I would do a pregnancy test just to be on the safe side. If you are pregnant, baby will be fine. If you are not pregnant, then you need to consider other issues such as imbalance and get that straightened out. I would also look up the pro's and con's of taking the patch.

I was on the patch for over a year. My periods became shorter and sometimes more than 28 days apart. I always felt like I was either pregnant or just about to start. I was convinced that I was pregnant more than once. I have actually been pregnant (planned pregnancies!!!) three times so I know what I'm talking about. Better take a pregnancy test just to be sure. I am no longer on the patch because of these types of problems.

Don't sweat about it if you have been taking your patch correctly you shouldn't have anything to worry about. DId you hear about the ortho evera on the news it may cause some controversy. Check into it seriously.

Is it possible that you could be pregnant? Birth Control is not 100% accurate.

Also, stress can cause periods to be late (been there, done that) -- try to relax...if you're not pregnant, it should start in a few days.

It is normal unless you believe you could be pregnant. Normally after taking most kinds of birthcontrol your period will lighten, go on for less days, or even in some cases stop.

i'd opt for the IUD if I were you. I had the Mirena IUD for 3 years, and performance lately had it bumped off to attempt for toddler form 2. The IUD changed into painless to get in, I had it put in at my 6 week verify up after my daughter changed into born. it truly is secure to apply if you're nursing your newborn, and it lasts for 5 years!!! Plus you do not ought to agonize about pills or something else. the merely imagine i did not comprehend when I were given the Mirena is it truly is can take awhile on your menstral cycles to go back to everyday after having the IUD bumped off. I had mine bumped off in December 2008, and contained in the previous couple months my cycles have finally lower back to everyday, except that, I somewhat recommend the IUD!
