Mayonnaise removes water rings from wood tables. Completely cover the ring with the mayo; let it sit for 15 minutes and then wipe off. It should do the trick.

If the wood has a good finish (don't try on bare wood), mix equal parts of baking soda and regular white, non gel toothpaste. Lightly dampen corner of a clean, soft white cloth with water and dip into the paste. With circular motion gently buff the marks for a few minutes. Wipe area clean, and buff to a shine. Follow with furniture polish. (If rings remain after buffing five minutes or so, they may have penetrated the wood; you might have to refinish the piece).

Old English furniture polish, it's an oil in a bottle, not a spray. Buy the darker color for darker woods. It will help replenish the oil in the wood and will also help cover the stain. You can also purchase wood markers that will cover it, they are normally used for scuffs on furniture, but they work for things like that too.

Heathen is right. MAYO IS THE WAY TO GO! it works on water rings and steam/heat damage from hot plates! I hate mayo, I had to help my aunt do a whole kitchen table once, it was gross!

Isn't a Glass Coffee Table more feasible?
The problem would be unheard of.

use a little bit of baking soda and a damp sponge. it will get the ring off but not damage the wood or the stain.

i dont know how either. i have done it and my mom has gotten really mad at me. Next time use a coaster or napkin, sometinhg that will soak up the water preventing it from going on the table and leaving a stain. this truly helps lol i have tried it. :) it will proabaly work for you.

Scrub scrub scrub! But not with anything that can scratch the surface. I don't know if this is right, but apparently if it is dark wood, scrub with vinegar. Remember though use a soft sponge or cloth, nothing sharp.

Rub mayonnaise onto the water mark and leave it overnight. In the morning, wipe away the excess and repeat if necessary. Good Luck!

Don't you have coasters!!
Sand it down and refinish it.
The water damage is already soaked into the wood
