i have 4 staples in my head because of cuts, and the doctor said to get them out in 10 days, but i have an appointment on the 11th day of me having them, is it bad that i will have them in for a day longer?

one day longer is just fine. if you go for a week or two longer is when you would have a problem b/c your skin would start to grow over the staples, mistaking them as being a permanent part of your body.
i work in trauma icu and several of our patients have staples-we sometimes have to leave them in a few days longer than expected-you'll be just fine....

Nah, you're good. Surgical staples don't rust like regular staples -- they're specially coated with a material that keeps them sterile for quite a while. If you weren't going to get them out until 2 weeks after your 10th day I'd say you should be concerned, but an extra day? No worries.

I had 30 staples in my stomach after a major surgery. They hurt worse the longer they are in because your skin starts to grow around them. One day, however, will not make a huge difference.

U should be ok. If they r in too long they could be hard to get out, but 1 extra day will be fine.

An extra day won't hurt them. They are left in longer in places depending on the injury.
