Cetaphil makes an acne bar cleanser. I think the gentle cleanser is for sensitive and other irritation type skins, such as rosecea, atopic dermatitis, and eczema.
There are several causes of acne, and different treatments will work for different people. If OTC products do not work, after trying a few different formulations, it is time to move on to a dermatologist.
Do not forget to try a non-comedogenic shampoo and NO products for a week to 10 days, in case products themselves are causing the acne.

Not effective for me, but you'll never know til you try it out for yourself, if you have very sensitive skin , then that product is good for you. But if you have oily skin (normally source of acne) a mild soap is better.

You really need to read "Rosacea Free Forever" by Laura Taylor (also available in electronic format here: http://www.rosaceafreeforever.info ). It's about how to permanently cure your Rosacea naturally. I cured my Rosacea permanently in only 4 days after reading this.
Stop paying paying each month good money on creams. This is exactly what the pharmaceutical industry wants you to do! They want to milk money from you each month.
