I agree with most of the answers given, but just wanted to add if you live in the UK send a copy of your script by recorded delivery to yourself and when it comes back don't open it, put it away in a drawer. I know it sounds silly now but comedy ideas are being nicked all the time at least if you do as I say you will have proof of ownership & copyright should it go to court.

Firstly don't try and go to the likes of the BBC because they get 100's per day.
What you need to do is look for a small Television company or radio station and see if they're interested.
Don't be put off if t's rejected a number of times (this will happen!!) also you MUST have it writen in the correct format.

e.g. GARY SAYS "well I didn't know that"
"KELLY REPLIES "You think so?" - in a disgruntled and abrupt tone.

I hope that's of some help.

i do no longer understand an invaluable publishing business enterprise, yet a e book I unquestionably have been given as promptly as suggested as 'Get Publushed' is an surprising help. It factors you the pro's and cons of the two self and business enterprise publishing, and the version of complete self publishing, and self publishing with help.

It's still getting advertised on BB7 DAB Radio. If you log onto www.bbc.co.uk you'll find contact details. I think you've a week left to submit.
