Yes, I think that this is seriously wrong because, first of all, the teacher shouldn't have been fired just because there was a naked sculpture. To some people (not me), nudity is art (like drawing or sculpting it) and there shouldn't be any problem with it. Second of all, the parents were being very immature to have done what they did. I hope this answer gets your thoughts stright! LOL:)

As a mother, I must sign a permission slip before my child goes on a field trip. Therefore, it is the parents that gave permission to go to the art museum. The teacher should not of been fired, as the parents more than likely gave consent.

Yes I do think it was wrong for her to get fired. If the students were on the trip that means they had parental consent so the paretns shouldn't have complained to get her fired. They should've asked what kind of art there would be before allowing their child to attend.

Yes, that's ridiculous. I'll have to look at that.

It's art, not pornography nor inappropriate.

Those parents should explore the human body a little more and realize that artistic representations of it in no way is dirty nor shameful. And the school system should have a bit more sense. (don't you hate it when you're in themiddle of posting and you get a call or some other interruption!)

That is totally wrong, what stupid and ignorant parents, how can anyone control what is in a museum.

If everything was done properly, slips submitted and signed then I think the teacher should fight back. That is totally unfair.

Yet another overly sensitive person in society. People have to realize that nude sculptures were real works of art during that time.

Too much! Rum Shots to you!

Yes, this was wrong, unless the parent's never signed a permission slip. If the parent's signed on they handed on all of the responsibility to the school so it's their own fault, not the teachers.

Assuming that the parents signed a permission slip for the field trip it was absolutely wrong for her to get fired! Ignorant people!
