narcissists get defensive when their actions or lack thereof are confronted. Someone called the truth as it actually and slick willy lashes out calling it a "conservative hit job" in an attempt to deflect his own culpability in the war on terror, (or in his case lack of action in the war on terror.)
Clinton's administration called for the ouster of Saddam Hussein but did not have the balls to do anything about it. We backed out of Somalia and emboldened the terrorists. The left in this country does not have the spine to follow through with jack sh&t and this further emboldens enemies that would like to see the US and it's population under Sharia law.

I believe so, that rant was so out of his public character and not really helpful to his wife at all. I think he really believes all of that stuff he said too, its so sad he was such an intelligent man.
