God, yes. Don't even start about the things I have to remind that man. Like showering every day... If I don't remind him, I swear, he won't shower for days in a row. The brushing, I gave up on that. He brushes only in the morning. Tell your niece she's not the only one and that she has to get used to it, because they won't change.

I had a ex once who i had to remind to brush his teeth and that he needs to take a shower. My husband does however brush his teeth and takes a shower. But i do have to remind him of some little things (pick clothes up off the floor, put his dishes in the sink, take his shoes off at the door). Tell your neice that shes not the only one who has a husband or bf that has to be reminded to brush their teeth and to do other things. Hopefully one day he'll get the point and brush them on his own without being told to do so LOL. Good luck!

I remind my husband by putting toothpaste on his brush and sitting by the sink. He then brushes his teeth. He probably would do it with out my help but I find it nice to remind him and be helpful. We never talk about it

Is he lazy? I have to remind my 10 year old to brush his teeth. Having to remind a grown man is just wrong. If he can't remember to brush his teeth, what else is he forgetting to do? Gross!

I do occasionally remind my hubby to brush his teeth. kinda sad but oh well. I also have to remind him to put his dirty clothing in the laundry hamper. Everyday he gets home from work and walks into our room pulls off his shirt and jeans and leaves them on the floor or the bed. I usually have to tell him when he takes his shower he needs to wash his hair with shampoo.sad....

Yes I have to remind my boyfriend who is 39 to brush his teeth. Grrr not my favorite thing to do. Pick up their laundry off the floor and put them in the hamper! Put your dirty dishes in the sink!

Yea...ok...your neice...pathetic...but not sure which one is more, the ADULT that needs to be told to brush their teeth ot the other one who would even consider a realtionship with someone who needed that. Pathetic. Sorry can't think of another word.

That sounds pretty sad. Who has to be reminded to brush?

I have to remind my husband where to put his dirty clothes. He leaves them in the closet, in the living room, in the bathroom. It's sad. I never have to remind him to take care of his personal hygiene though. He's obsessed with smelling fresh.

my husband has to pester me to brush before I go to bed. I brush daily, but I hate to before bed, because I wake up in the morning with a horrible sugary taste in my mouth.
But yes, he has to bug me about it - but I do brush my teeth every morning and after lunch, I just hate to before bed. But I do it for him - or he won't kiss me in bed!
