I have a friend and she fought and fought very hard to keep her boyfriend. She was successful in terms of, that he moved in. The bad part is that he is constantly cheating on her, doesn't tell her where he is going and what time he will be home (if he does decide to come home for the night). He never spends any quality time with her. He doesn't pay for ANY household expenses. He calls her fat in front of me and my husband and our other friends.
Now having said all that...is it really worth trying to keep someone who doesn't really want to be with you?

He's not a pet and you don't keep someone. If he wants to be with you he will. If he doesn't then he won't, but if he doesn't then it just wasn't meant to be and you should move on. Don't ever settle. People should be together because they want to be. Not because someone is trying to keep them. Getting pregnant will not help either. It'll only complicate things and make it harder for the baby.

You can't keep your boyfriend if he doesn't want to be kept. Trying too hard is what pushes them away even more. But if you don't try so hard and just kind of seperate yourself but not too much then he may come back to his senses.

If he wants to go then he is gonna go. Don't beat yourself up trying to keep him. If he genuinely likes you as a person he will stay around. There is no format or book of rules to follow. Just be yourself and confident in yourself.

don't stalk him, don't call him 30 times a day, don't get mad if he doesnt call you every night. Ask how his day was. guys can talk but there is no real way to keep a boyfriend if he doesnt love you.
