I wouldn't say I hate her, but I will say that I despise some of things she does. But, despite my experience, I believe there are alot of great Mother-in-Laws out there. My Mother-in-Law has helped alot with raising my son and taking care of me when I was bed rid-din, she would even help me go to the Bathroom when I could'nt walk and she even saw my cheeks!! (And I'm not talking about the ones on my face) I'm very grateful for all that she's done for me especially since I don't have a Mother around to help me. But, she can also be very spiteful and hurtful at the same time. But, I'm thankful for knowing her and having her in my life because I'm learning how to become a better Mother-in-Law because I would have remembered how it felt to be the "In-Law".

No, not true. I loved my mother in law and did not get enough time with her - she passed away two weeks ago after 6 months of colon and liver cancer. The last 2 months she was in ICU and it was hard watching her body slowly fall apart. I've been married a year and been together with my husband for 3 years and she welcomed me and my family with open arms. We all got along great. I will remember her fondly, and miss her greatly.

NO! I have the best mother-in-law in the world. While I was helping her daughter (my wife) move back into her dorm after summer break and the first time I met her by the way, she said to me, "Welcome to the family, son" before I even had asked her daughter to marry me. Now over 28 years later, she still calls me son and prays for me every day.

Many moms do no longer understand that once they betray the daddy of their babies also they are hurting their babies. babies experience like they have been rejected themselves or a minimum of, that they are not their mom's precedence. i imagine it will be truly complicated for a son to understand that his mom cheated on his father.Your husband may no longer fee his relationships which includes his relatives as he unearths his mom's infidelity embarrassing and hurtful and it will be less complicated to truly be an unforgiving hermit even as it is composed of his quite than being area of a dysfunctional relatives tainted with adultery and promiscuity and psychological ailment. He would have felt ignore, abandonment and resentment as a baby. He would experience he does no longer opt to disclose his babies to his mom's adultery and psychological ailment because it will be something inherently incorrect or tousled interior of him it truly is hereditary.
