Okay, so I've gotten to the part where the little round stone is on the crescent little holder on the side of either half-pillar (upon refreshing and starting over, I found that the stone can go into either crescent holder on either side) when the scarabs are clicked, they all have the same effect except the blue one. If you have your speakers up you'll notice when the blue scarab is pressed the "boom" you hear louder and shakes the pillar with the stone harder than all the other scarabs.
Also, sometimes the mummy himself bangs on the tomb door. Mostly he does either a single bang, other times he does 5 bangs in a row. Then, very ver few times, you will hear the 5 in a row, a split second pause and a 6th bang. The instructions before the game loads is to have the speakers on???
EDIT...
Okay, I got 2 stones, each in the crescent holders on each pillar. When you have them there and you click on the red or green scarabs, the pillar on that side will bounce and move the little black rock on the top near the coals. The same on the other side, if you hit the purple or yellow scarab, it will move the little black rock on the top by the coals of that pillar. If you hit the blue scarab it moves them both.
It takes 9 hits to take the black rock from one side of the pillar to the other, 5 hits on the edge and then 9 hits to go back to the other side of the pillar (at the coals) I've tried to sync both black stones so that they are on the same "hit"...but still nothing...
EDIT #2.....UGH...STUPID MUMMY!!!!
OKAY FIGURED OUT THE PUZZLE...SPOILER ALERT!!!
If you've read my first edit, and like someone posted earlier, you need to manipulate pressing the scarabs until you have the two little black/blue stones (on the top of the pillars with the coal) on the edge of the of the pillars closest to the door of the mummy.
Here is where my answer becomes different from the answerer above...
When you hear the mummy hit the door 5 times in a row and he makes the pillars shake back and forth, before the five hits are over, insanely pound on the blue scarab over and over...hell, if the mummy stops, keep hitting the blue scarab. Eventually, the two pillars will fall inward, symbols will appear over the door and a swinging, double edged axe will fall.
Now, in between each swing of the blade, hit the coloured scarabs in the order of the colours of the symbols that appear above the door. One swing = one hit on a coloured scarab. You will notice the axe falling lower and lower as you do this, that's fine, just keep doing it. Try to hit the scarabs at the time when the axe is just about to swing infront of the door. If you miss a swing, start the pattern again. Once you've hit the scarabs in the order you see, click on the door like a mad man.
So, you click scarabs in colour order, then click on door. If nothing do it again...
...if nothing happens, do the pattern again...then click the door...
..and again...
..and again...
..and again...
...after each attempt make sure you click on the door.
It will open, eventually.
Enjoy.

Have worked it a little. click blue pushes the stone back toward the door with the man figure on it. clicking on either of the 2 scarabs (beetles) on the right moves the ball to the left.
Ditto the 2 scarabs on the left they move the ball to the left. I think the scarabs on the ends move the ball further than the scarab tou\ching them. One of the scarbs (on the left?) gets the two burners and their posts moving back and forth for a time. You can work the stone to fall into the left brazier's cups located on its inner side wall. You can work the ball into either the right or left cup of the stone brazier.
Edit
How did you get the second stone.
Edit
Got it thanks.

EDIT
Get both blue balls on top to the posiition where are closest and facing each other. Note that that position has 2 or more "settings" where they do not move when a scarab is clicked on. When at that position wait for a single knock and click on the blue scarab. The braziers fall to the ground facing each other and a double bit axe swings back and forth across the screen. and several heiroglyphics appear

The hieroglyphs work out to (the first 4) "door" the last 3 may be perhaps, "ya wee" or "ya way."

Lee good show, thanks,
Almost got all of it.
Regards all.

This is a great POINT AND CLICK! Still trying to figure it out but yes, there's a round stone sitting by the blue scarab, and repeated clicking of each scarab will move the stone in a different direction. I've managed to "hop" it into the little crescent shape on each of the urns and then when you start clicking the scarabs, the little balls in the urns themselves start to move, but I can't get further.
I've tried following the order of colors that appears on the stones, and also the color sequence of the little triangles around the border. The border colors are not in sequence completely around the board. The top goes YGBR, the left side is opposite.
Thanks for sharing... I won't get anymore housework done today but I'm gonna have fun figuring this out!

I'm still trying! I moved the stone on that container thing. Don't know what to do!
Guys! everytime you click on that "colorful crab" thing, the stone moves in a specific direction. You can move it and put it on the small nest of the container or jar infront. But then I have no idea so far!

I am trying it too right now...
I got one of the stones in the little side holder of the container, but cant get it to do anything... and I cant get another stone to appear to move it around to the other container.....
I have also noticed that when you have a stone in the cresent of the urn, there is a small grey/black stone that tends to move when you click on the crabs.. but still makes no sense to me...
