open IE
click tools
click programs
click make default
i have IE 7 it may be a little different if you are using IE 6 or earlier however it will be in tools-internet options somewhere

Just copy pest these instructions in .TXT (Notepad) or take a printout.
1stly I'll request you not to change from AOL to IE. AOL is a GREAT browser. And would like to change from AOL to IE.
Just Open your IE
click tools
click on Internet Options
Then click programs Tab
At end of the Form above Ok and Cancel Button there is a box just check it. the Sentence says " Internet Explorer should check to see whether it is the default browser.

On tools/internet options/programs there is a check box at the bottom. Check it and the next time IE starts it will ask if you want it to be the default.

I am not sure, but I just got something in the mail that said I get 30 and you get 10 dollars if you switch from AOL to NETZERO...Why pay more?

click start, there should be something that says.. set program defaults. Click browsers and then select ie

on IE click on tools then internet options, goto programs and change all to internet explorer, or click on reset web settings job done.
