Not in the Autumn. We normally have a summer shed but do not notice it. I suggest you go to your doctor if you have bald patches develop. Are you stressed? That may be the reason too - I once had a lot of hair fall out when I was stressed but it grew back after about a year.

I don't think a clump is normal, but it is true that we can have "seasonal" loss of excess hair in autumn, the trees lose their leaves, we lose the hair that did not come out during the summer! Overall however there should be no noticable loss of hair on your head!

I don't if this is the same but I had a temporary hairloss problem and discovered I was drinking too much caffeine. I was told that cafeine in too large a quantity can block the absorbtion of iron, which in turn, can affect the level of vitamin c that is absorbed (iron and vit c work together).
Anyway, since going decaf, the problem has been resolved.
I don't know if you can relate to that.
Also, dieting can cause hairloss, as can hormone imbalance.

you could have alopicia (dont know if it is spelled like this)it is nothing to worry about see your doc if you are concerned alopicia can be caused by stress chill out and relax

Are you a cat or something..if not it sounds like alapechia ( i think thats how its spelt ) its a condition which causes you to lose your hair.
