I would love to hear more from people who have had the op, as i hear it is very invasive and painful. I also worry about my husband finding me unnatractive with the scaring, also just how bad is the scaring?

How about a nice non-surgical alternative. Find a spa that does mud wraps, the kind where they use ace bandages to wrap you. Most will guarantee at least a 2" reduction overall. Generally women don't wrap their breasts because they don't want the inch loss there but you could get a wrap 4 times a year for about $80 each time (depending upon where you live) and that should take care of it. Not only will you avoid the surgery but you whole body will be slimmer and it reduces the appearance of cellulite. In California we do them all the time but any big city should have a salon or spa that does them. Seriously, it should reduce them by a cup size or 2, maybe more.

Get breast reduction surgery in India. Cosmetic Surgery is very cheap in India. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges cosmetic surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Forerunners Healthcare. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories.

I have also read that they arrange financing for American and Canadian patients, as cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor I personally believe that your cosmetic surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

My cousin got a couple of cosmetic surgery procedures in India like the breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift through the forerunners healthcare. She is more than very happy with the results. She just paid 30% of the amount she was quoted in USA and is all praise for this forerunners healthcare company. I personally have seen the wonderful results and am particularly impressed with the kind of quality care she got from this company. I hope this helps.

i know husbands are concerned about astetics... but in addition to a visit to the doctor with you, explain how a little scarring under your breasts are the least of your worries. think about all the emotional, physical and health problems you are dealing with. best of luck with whatever you choose!

If you are doing this for health reasons go do it. If the clod you are married to objects, then I'd rethink his commitment to you.

If you are doing this for 'cosmetic' reasons, then don't do it. It's major surgery and too dangerous for vanity reasons.
