How come the fat one in Lost has not lost any wieght. I would have tohught on a diet of fish and coconuts and the odd airdrop he would have lost a few pounds by now.

You know, I have often wondered the same thing.
He should be a heck of a lot smaller by now.
Even if it has only been a few months, they have basically nothing on the island that would compare to the amount of calories he would consume in a normal 3-4 month period.
No soda, fat food, fried foods, greasy pizza. He did have a stash, but even that wouldn't amount to much.
Even if it is only a small loss of weight, it would be noticeable.
Yes, I realize it is a TV show, but hello, try to make it at least a little bit realistic.....HA HA HA

Jorge Garcia said that he actually lost 20 pounds during the second season, but I think between the food that he had hidden and the fact that he really doesn't help out with anything energy exerting, he isn't going to drop weight that fast. Plus they have only been on the island for 2 - 3 months so far.

That is the irony/ beauty of the show. Nothing is what it seems on the show. If you followed the show, one of the other characters "Charlie" asked him the same thing. The "fat guy"' (real name Jorge Garcia) and character's name is Hugo Hurley, has been secretly stashing away food found in the hatch that the LOSTIES blew open at the end of Season 1.
Ever since they have had access to that hatch (from Season 2 forward), he has been stashing away food and secretly eating it alone.

Normally I would totally agree, however, don't forget he had a secret stash
which he just used up, so maybe in the next, "Lost" we could see a skinny
"Hurl".
