I'm kinda out of the loop, I guess. I don't know what "pink collar" is! However, since most of us are required to have a Master's or a Doctorate these days, I would say that we are white collar. In fact, my white-collared husband doesn't have the academic credentials that I have!

what's "pink collar"? Never heard of that. Sounds feminine. Would it apply to men teachers? Anyway, teachers have college degrees and special certification and training. When I think white collar, I picture people in the business or legal professions. I don't think that terms applies to teachers or doctors, nurses, scientists, academics, religious leaders, government officials, etc

Mi amor. There is no such thing as a "pink collar" in the working world. Teachers are white collar.
A kiss for you,
Mr. M on "collars."
