If you don't mind an answer from a wife... I treat my husband like he's the king of the world-- he's the king of my world. When he gets home from work, I rush to the door to hug and kiss him. Dinner is cooking, the house is nicely done, I'm wearing perfume and makeup. I'll rub his back, give him the TV remote, and let him relax. We never fight, we enjoy being together, and we're always holding hands when we're out.
If it sounds submissive, HA-- we both know who controls things (me!)-- I have the real power in the relationship. I am so good to him, and sweet to him and loving to him, he'll basically do anything I ask- with pleasure. Being the nicest, most loving wife in the world means I have a devoted, loyal, loving, wonderful husband who adores me.
The key though is to pick the right kind of man. Don't be nice to a guy who treats you like dirt. Be nice to a really top-quality man.

Wife treats me like turd. She was great before we got married. Since we got married, she's off to the next big thing. It should tell you something when I get none (last time we did it was 2.5 months back) and I do all the house work and work to earn while she is just too busy to get our of her crappy little job that doesn't even pay and makes her work like crazy.

To add to that, she's put on weight! I gotta get out of here.

I get treated like crap, partly because I deserve some of it but not all.
I got called a "useless piece ofsh*t" once for not lighting a BBQ, then I get abused verbally for every little thing.
Everything is a capital offence. Been married 24 years........Plus its been 5 months since we've had sex, or what passes for it. She lays there and yawns so there's no use in trying.

I'm a wife... may I answer for me here ?? I treat my husband with respect and he me..... we do things mostly that he likes, well, because of circumstances of our lives.... but I also do things I like as well...... we have respect, hounour, and trust..... I am old fashioned in lots of ways, he is the head of home and all that, but HE does NOT abuse it..... so I guess what I am saying is, I treat my husband like I am lead to treat him.... as a man with integrity, hounor and wisdom....... God bless
