If they don't want us messing around with the world why do they care about what the US does with sanctions..

Your anology breaks down with the fact that Cuba is not sanctioned by anyone else except the US,... so we didn't bully anyother nation to not deal with Cuba we did it ourselves.. And why must the US deal with a country where they do not agree with their polocies. doesn't the US have a right to choose who they do business with?
Lily: Actually the US would be Butting out of their business by not trading with them......

How could they have the time to feed and secure their own people when they're too busy enslaving them, jailing them and executing them?
Don't you know that the world hates America but expects handouts, food, money and for USA to take care of them?

Here's an analogy. One of your neighbors doesn't like what you serve for dinner in your house. So, they get a petition together and get all the local supermarkets to refuse to sell you food.
Sanctions are agreements with other government that they will not do any business with that country being punished. It's basically equivalent to a boycott, by other countries. And it's often done just because one country (the US) doesn't like what the other country is doing.
Sanctions are pure bully tactics, and a way for the US to enforce its own particular agenda and preferences by peer pressure.
{EDIT} You're absolutely right about Cuba. That is one of the few cases where it is purely internal US policy. I was responding to the general question "countries like...." which are generally referred to as "rogue nations" or similar label.
And you answered that question yourself. If they don't want the US "butting into other countries' affairs" that would not butting in through peer-pressure bullying in the form of global sanctions.

Because the US is butting into their business and their life. Nobody made the US the ruling party of the world. Mind your own business America, sort out your own problems at home before you tell others how to handle their countries.

Other countries can and do trade with Iran and Cuba. The point is that people want the US to butt out, but still give them their money and buy their stuff. I've often said, you don't have to like the US, but at least treat us like the customer we are. We buy things from other countries and instead of saying, "Thanks for the business!" they say, "We hate you, but come again tomorrow or else."

Because, no matter how much they hate us, they have to do business with us 'cause we're pretty much the only game in town. Besides. it's not the countries, it's the leaders of those countries that have a problem because if the American idea of freedom catches on, they are doomed. Their people have no freedoms.
