Then again why would he want to show her he cares if there love is gone?

I am assuming this is your wife from your previous posts. Women are different and it his hard to comment on what you could do to show her how you care for her. Some women like to have things purchased for them, but in my 10 years of marriage the things that my husband has done for me to show me that he cares come in the small every day things that can easily be taken advantage of if not appreciated. He leaves me little notes everyday, he takes the children off my hands for awhile so i can spend some time alone, helps make dinner or load the dishwasher. He tells me that he loves me every time he talks to me, but not to the point of annoyance. He gives me space when I need it and is there for me when I need him....he listens. But it is pointless do these sort of things if she is not willing to appreciate them and return the gestures in her own way. I am not sure the love is gone on your end if you are making these posts, you need to find out if there is anything there on her end in order to work things out. If not then it may be time to move on....but it wouldn't be surprising to find out that she might feel the same way you do and may think that you don't love her anymore.

There is lots you can do...the lady that said the little things has it right for sure. So your asking why would he want to if their love is gone...well, he wouldn't if he is SURE their love is gone.
Sounds to me like he isn't SURE or he wouldn't have asked the first question. You will know when it is gone, trust me.
Try these things, when you determine for positive they are not working, ask the next question.

How are you going to know if you don't try? Leave her notes. Send flowers. Invite her to dinner. There are oodles of ways.
