Your question isn't very clear. Do you mean a VA home loan? Educational assistance?
A home loan is dependent upon your income, expenses, credit, etc, just like a regular mortgage. However, they are more lenient, you usually get a better interest rate, and you don't pay the closing costs.
They do offer educational benefits as well, but I believe you have to have a disability (not sure on this, so check it out).
