im 14 years old and i really like primetime dramas and comidies. i like shows like lost, law and order svu, heros, jericho, NCIS, the Unit, and even tings like monk and pysch.
as far as i know no one my age also like shows like this all they watch is mtv, espn, or disney channel, so
a. am i normal
b. do other people my age watch these shows

i'm 14 and i love primetime tv and it's normal to like primtime tv at 14 and i love psych,my name is
earl,law and order,heros,monk,lost,the new adventures of the old christine,the office,studio 60 on the sunset strip and grey's anatomy.so it's normal to like primetime but were probaly some of the only people in the world that like primetime
because everything else is mtv,disney channel and espn.

Different strokes for different folks. What you watch on tv cannot determine if you are 'normal' thats decided by your actions and speech. Its good to be different sometimes, as long as its not in a negative way and it doesn't affect your daily socialisation such as among other students.
I have a 14 year old cousin who likes Comedy Central and all their satiric reviews (the Today Show) so maybe if you did an informal survey among a few students you'll be surprised lots of kids also like your tv programs.

Yes, I would say that you are very normal! When my daughter was your age, she was into Dawson's Creek, Felicity, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Charmed, Gilmore Girls, Angel, and 7th Heaven, just to name a few! Everybody has their own likes and dislikes, whether you are 14 or my age of 47! You see, I love most of the shows that my daughter likes! She also loves to watch shows such as I Love Lucy, Bewitched, and I Dream of Jeanie!! So stop worrying! You seem as if you are a well adjusted young person, with some common sense!

Yes. You are normal. Other's your age do watch those shows. Maybe not as many of those as you, but certainly some of them. I bet quite a few watch Lost and now probably Heroes.

i do too and im 15, i watched them when i was 14. i like law and order and monk. not every teen watches mtv espn and disney. i know a lot of people in my high school that watch shows like that. trust me

Don't worry sweety, i was 11 when i started watching these stuff, 12 reading politics books, maybe it's just that u have that open mind and u're older than those u're age, and believe me, it won't affect u negatively, u won't become sth like a freak, and if u need to talk about anything u can contact me anytime am alwayz ready 2 listen ;)

There is nothing wrong with it at all. They are very good shows that you watch. I think kids your age that watch only MTV don't are wasting there time. You don't have to be an adult to like those shows.

b. i'm 15 so i guess the answer would have to be yes
i watch lost sometimes, law and order (all the different ones) as well as CSI, Psych, Jericho, and Heroes
