I enrolled in the Job Corps program last November after returning after Hurricane Rita and the admissions counselor wanted some documents and I signed release forms to get my records to her. Well a month ago, I asked her what is up with the documents she received and said that the counselor will mail them to me last month so I could find another counselor in the area I could find and i never received those documents in the mail and it has been a month. What should I do? Should I start all over again with the documents?

either way...call and ask again, and be referred to who should have them....or send them again.

One thing I've learned in life is that "everything" I sign, "everything" I send, and everything important I receive, or every personal paper (including credit cards, drivers license, birth certificate, transcripts, etc.) that is important to me, I make a copy for myself before I send it into the mail or drop it off in person.

Contact them again to be sure that they were mailed and when they were mailed out. Many times a program like that will say something is in the mail and it happens weeks later. If they said they mailed it for sure a month ago it looks like you will have to start over. Good Luck.

you should always send important documents via trackable delivery. If requesting a company to send you important informaton, request that they send it trackable and get the tracking number from them. Fedex and the USPS both have online tools that allow you to track your package over the internet.

If they do not have any records of the documents, then yes, you should start all over ...

Sounds like you'll need to start over if you want to enroll.
