This question from meta physical science is very difficut to answer. If anyone can provide a satisfactory answer I will really appreciate it.

If GOD is a creation of mind (so it seems logically) does it imply that God does not exist ? If yes why yes ? If no why no ?
Please give proper and adequate reasons to explain your answer.

At least it is a good exercise for your intellect if it has not been exercised for long.

I cannot give a black and white answer, because, just face it, we do not live in a black and white reality. There is so much in the world that we have not seen, and therefor, we do not belive. Just because we have not seen God, does that neccisarily mean he does not exist. We have not yet seen the rest of the galexy, but does that mean it does not exist?
Is this life really happening? Or are we the product of another greater being's dream, maybe the God we talk so much about. So there is no right or wrong, straight up answer.

But Thank you for giving my intelect a great exercise. I enjoyed contimplating this question.

What do you think?

The simple answer is no; the statement does not imply God does or does not exist. I beleive this statement is more of a testament of mankind's inability to understand the complexities of the universe than the existence or non-existence of "God".

When you say God is a creation of mind.... I take this to mean that mankind has defined God to explain the things which are/were unexplainable to man's mind at the time. Written in a slightly different way, that mankind's mind/conscienciousness does/did not comprehend the mysteries of the universe but saw both Chaos and order. In that order they reasoned that there was something which directed the order, they named this God.

Now, in this naming, mankind created God, as much as we could understand what God is, at that time. But we must also realize that until recently- within the last 300 years man did not understand or comprehend air/oxygen. Mankind went aobut its daily duties oblivious to the now established fact that air exists. Prior to this"discovery" air still existed, but was not understood.

Also note that mankind's intellect (the capacity of the mind to understand and to reason) has not changed in the last 300 years. It has gained a great deal more information, but it's reasoning capabilities has not increased. I state this to point out that in our "advanced" intellect we still do not understand themysteries of the universe. Even today we cannot balance the differences between quantum physics and celestial physics, and yet they exist side by side.

As to the existance of God, what most people tend to ignore are the accounts of the personal experiences of the Bible's authors. Speaking for myself, I do not beleive in God due to the Bible alone, but the Bible coupled with my own experiences.

I'm afraid I'm going to get quite semantic in this answer but I think this question needs me to take that approach.

I will use the word God to refer any personal deity, so this could mean Pan, Satan, Yahweh etc.

Now I need to ask what the word 'exist' actually means. Is it a description or a numerical value? To explain if I say dogs exist does that mean that one of the attributes of dogs is that have a property of existence? or is it to say that there is at least one possibly more dogs in the universe at this moment? Personally I accept the second definition because it seems to me that to say something exists is merely to say that there is one or more of that thing.

So with these two definitions I would say that if God is a mental creation then that does not imply his non existence as to give an idea a numerical value is perfectly acceptable.

No, just because something is a creation of the mind doesn't mean that it doesn't exist. Neither does it mean that it does exist. All concepts are, in a sense, creations of the mind, no matter whether based on facts or fancy. The actual existence of anything is independent of mental constructs. For example, one may have the concept of a dragon, but that doesn't mean it exists or not. Or one may have the concept of pink tennis shoes in size 12EEE, and those, also, may or may not exist. How to determine whether any certain thing really does exist, like God or the tennis shoes, independently of our concepts, is of course another problem; but the mere fact that one has the concept of something doesn't tell us whether it exists outside the mind or not.

In creation of anything if you give something enough energy it becomes an entity. Since energy is the basis for life itself GOD has become a creation by all the people giving and sending energy to the concept. Yet on a basis that more than one GOD and Goddess exist which was the standard before christians the GOD were a higher form of being made of energy and sending them energy made them and you stronger.

If God is a creation of mind
And a mind creates falsehoods
Then God is a falasy

If God is a creation of mind
And a mind creates reality
Then God is real

Is this logical enough?

So you tell me, does the mind create reality or falsehoods? I don't know. Is reality really real? Or is everything we know dependant upon perspective, and therefore doesn't really exist unless attention is placed on that item of choice? So... if god is really just a creation of mind, then... no, god doesn't really exist. It' a falasy.

As an aspect of religion, God is a creation of human intellect, a figurehead placed there as an expalantion for those aspects of life that defy description at our present level of understanding. Religion itself, from a purely spiritual standpoint, is not worship of an all-powerful being, but a means of reconnecting the physical embodiment of the self with the spiritual, transcendent self (from the Latin roots, religion means "to re-link, to re-connect") Whether you choose to do so through worship of the Christian God or Yahweh or Allah or Vishnu makes no difference, because the name, appearance or nature of your God is secondary to the purpose He/She/It serves. It is not a simple matter of saying, therefore, that God does or does not exist, because He/She/It is a spiritual focal point, the face or mask that we choose to see when attempting to view the infinite. If Decartes had also been a priest, in other words, he might have said, "I believe, therefore God is."

First, let me preface this by saying that I do not believe that a god exists.

But, your question would suggest that, yes, a form of god would exist.

Each person who has a concept of god within their mind has for them a deity that does exist. To them. And they believe this god exists.

This would also suggest that there is more than one god, because not everyone's god would be exactly the same. It may represent the same idea of god, but they would all be different.

I don't know if this answers your question but, it's all I got.

God is a creation of man, not the mind. Does a god exist? You cannot provide proof for or against. I do not believe a god exists. I have read many religious texts and had questions that could not be answered. I made up my own mind. That is my choice, please respect it. I respect your choice.
