Not sure. I do however know that there are red light cameras. They are active after the light turns red. So I would assume the speed cameras can detect speeds and if you were going fast enough, you'll know for sure in about a month. That's because they also track your license plate and find out your info. Then they send the ticket in the mail.

if a speeding ticket turns up just send a letter back saying you were in the process of trying to sell the car at the time and someone took it out on a test drive and they drove through the camera, thats what i tried and i never heard anything after that. LOL! good luck buddy..

Don't think there is any way, but if you have been caught it should only take about 5 to 7 days before you get the letter through the mail. If you don't hear within 14 days then any letter after that date is invalid

Say cheese for the flash. Usually no flash means no ticket.

A guy got flashed as he overtook me just next to a speed camera (what a div!), I wasn't sure if they were going to send me a ticket or too, it's been a while so hopefully not (I was within the speed limit, he definitely was not).

No
Some speed cameras are dummies with a CC tv camera in them
so be careful, if you decide to tear it out by the roots approach from the rear. this is probably illegal under the Speed Camera Roots (tearing out by) act of 19something or other

If it flashed then you should recieve a ticket within 10 days, but I think most of them don't have film in. I know loads of people who've been flashed and not recieved a ticket.
